At the University of Melbourne Library

The University of Melbourne Library consists of more than 20 branch libraries including:

Most published material at the University of Melbourne Library, of relevance for historical studies, is held in the Baillieu Library and/or the Education Resource Centre (ERC).

The Baillieu Library is the Arts and Humanities branch library. In addition to the Book and Serials collections it contains Reference, Reserve, Microforms, Special Collections, Rare Books, Prints, and the East Asian Collection. Workstations provide access to electronic resources via Buddy.

The Education Resource Centre houses the Research Collection, Media Services Section, and the Map Section (in addition to Book, Serial and Reference Collections etc.). Workstations provide access to electronic resources via Buddy.

The Library Catalogue is the key to the collections. It records the holdings of all the branch libraries.
